National Innovation Council partners with IL&FS Clusters to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
National Innovation Council (NInC) has partnered with IL&FS Clusters to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) by transforming the regional MSME clusters into innovative ecosystems.
Realising the scope of innovation as an engine for growth and national competitiveness, the government of India declared 2010 as the Decade of Innovation. To further strengthen this model the government of India established the NInC under the chairmanship of Mr. Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Prime Minister of India.
Other programme partners with NInC are Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Foundation of MSME Clusters (FMC), Tata Management Training Center (TMTC), Confederation Of Indian Industry (CII) and FICCI.
Under this affiliation NInC and its programme partners are actively working on creating frameworks for cluster development, creating appropriate eco-systems to foster inclusive innovation, exploring new strategies for innovations and collaborations with various departments.
