IL&FS Education trains 2688 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in Bihar

Bihar: IL&FS Education has been actively working with the State Health Society of Bihar to conduct training programmes for Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) in the state.
In order to make the programme roll-out more efficient and effective, IL&FS has constructively planned the training of the batches according to the number of ASHAs in each district. The first batch of the training programme was held in February and till now 87 training batches have been conducted.
2688 ASHAs have been successfully trained in line with the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) guidelines across 26 districts including Lakhisarai, Banka, Jehanabad, Jamui, Samastipur, West Champaran, Gopalganj and Patna.
